On Wednesday, July 1, a new era begins at the University of Tennessee, one filled with Swooshes and ground-breaking gear and eye-popping uniforms. Yes, on July 1, Nike officially takes over the uniform contract for all Volunteers varsity sports.
And UT is wasting no time in offering a preview of what the future will look like. On Wednesday, at noon EDT, the school and Nike will unveil new uniforms for at least the football team, and likely for all twenty intercollegiate athletic programs.
