Kevin Durant’s latest signature shoe, the KD 8, has officially launched, having debuted in a “4th of July” colorway on Friday. Of course, being a Durant sig, that’ll be the first of legions of different looks on the new silhouette, each telling a story from Kevin’s life. Today we get a look into the first five Nike KD 8 Colorways.

The KD 8 July 4th is now available at retailers, a celebration of Independence Day that plays on Kevin’s love of cookouts, family gatherings, fireworks and all the festivities that come with the day.
Nike KD 8 V8
The KD 8 V8 launches July 11, sporting a look informed by Kevin’s custom Camaro, a reminder that hard work pays off.
Nike KD 8 Hunt’s Hill Sunrise
Hunt’s Hill is located near Kevin’s childhood home. Starting at age 11, he would run up the hill as a part of regular workouts, the first of many obstacles a nascent Kevin would conquer en route to becoming KD, NBA Superstar.

Nike KD 8 Suit
The bold purple KD 8 Suit is inspired by Kevin’s NBA MVP acceptance speech, sporting a bold purple look inspired not just by his suit, but by the speech itself. August 14 is the rumored release.
