On October 23, Nike and OHSU’s Doernbecher Children’s Hospital will unveil the Doernbecher Freestyle XII collection, the latest in an annual line of Nike shoes each designed by a patient at the hospital.
The theme of this year’s unveiling is “Take a walk in my shoes,” and today Isaiah, Emory, Jacob, Kian, Lizzy and John — the six designers of the collection — hint at this year’s looks by mentioning what their shoes are all about.
Check out the quick video below, and stay tuned for updates as October 23 approaches. As always, proceeds from the sales of the Doernbecher Freestyle collection will benefit Doernbecher Children’s Hospital in Portland, Oregon. To date, the program has raised more than $11 million for the hospital.
